Taking action in your life to develop usable skills or use developmental skills. This makes working towards a goal that once felt impossible a little easier just by taking the initiative to get started. In taking action or starting to do something toward the goal creates the routine of accomplishments and a habit of wanting to see results toward completing the achievements.
What are your strengths? Are your strengths physical, mental, emotional, intellectual, or spiritual? Are they all of these characteristics, some of those characteristics, and possibly none of them?Â
Determine your strength(s) on the things that you know you are good at doing and seeing how you can implement that strength into building strength in other aspects of your life. Maybe help yourself by strengthening some of the weakest characteristics.
Hard work pays off! Grinding it out mentally and physically doesn't seem like a whole lot of fun, and because of that people usually give up and revert back to their comfort zone where nothing gets better but at least it doesn't hurt. Give everything you do your best effort, don't be in competition with anyone other than yourself (unless the competition is what keeps you motivated) and be proud of yourself when you do accomplish something that you weren't able to before. A better you is essentially whatever you choose that to be but working out of your comfort zone at a pace that won't devastate you is a great way to achieve better results and help boost your self confidence.
